A former OnlyFans model has ended her dance career because it did not align with her values, and has since joined an Amish community.
Kendra Bates, 33, spent years being a dancer before she had a spiritual shift and started to feel that her career conflicted with her beliefs.
In the new TV show “Suddenly Amish” Ms Bates’ transition from life in busy Los Angeles to life in a rural Pennsylvanian Amish community is documented.

The group’s leader, known as Bishop Vernon, made an exception in bringing six “non-Amish” people inside the community – the subjects of the TV show.
In the first episode, which was released on January 13, Ms Bates discussed her decision to follow her Christian values, and stop dancing.
Speaking to People before the show premiered, she said the Suddenly Amish casting came at a “transitional” period in her life.
“I don’t necessarily align anymore with being a dancer. I really have to be picky with which jobs I morally feel comfortable doing, and that’s none,” she said.
“When this opportunity (came) to me, I was like, ‘This could be the out that I was looking for.”
During the first episode, it was revealed that Ms Bates had posted on OnlyFans during what she described as her “lowest point” before she was baptised.
She also said life in LA did not suit her.
“Everybody is so, ‘Me, me, me — what can you do for me?’ And that bothers me to no end,” she said.
“I’m just not happy currently where I’m at in life.”
