The Chase Australia is set to return to Channel 7 from next Monday, January 19, with new episodes once again taking their place in Seven’s early evening schedule at 5.00pm.
Hosted by Larry Emdur, the quiz show will again see contestants work through a series of fast paced rounds before taking on the Chasers in the Final Chase, where every second counts and the pressure builds through to the closing moments.
The upcoming run will feature the familiar lineup of Chasers, including Goliath (Matt Parkinson), Supernerd (Issa Schultz), The Shark (Brydon Coverdale), The Smiling Assassin (Shaun Wallace), The Governess (Anne Hegerty), The Professor (Mark Labbett) and Tiger Mum (Cheryl Toh).

The return comes as competition in the 5.00pm timeslot continues to intensify, with Nine’s Tipping Point maintaining a strong presence across the hour and reinforcing the importance of the slot as a key lead in to the nightly news.
As a result, industry attention will be on whether Seven opts to refresh The Chase Australia again in 2026, introduce new gameplay elements, or reconsider how the hour is programmed more broadly amid the increased competition.
The Chase Australia is produced by ITV Studios Australia for the Seven Network.
New episodes of The Chase Australia return at 5.00pm Monday, January 19 on Seven, with episodes also available on 7plus.
