Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam are two of the biggest music stars, widely known for their exceptional live performances at concerts and private events. The singers have delivered numerous hit songs for Indian films, which have significantly contributed to their lasting fame and popularity. Both artists have performed at high-profile weddings, including those of Malik Riaz in Pakistan and Mukesh Ambani in India. Their performance fees often make headlines, reflecting their ever-growing popularity across the globe.
Last week, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam performed at the viral and much-talked-about wedding of Faryal Talpur’s daughter, Ayesha Talpur. Both singers entertained the guests by performing their most popular songs on special requests from the dignitaries present at the wedding.
Recently, senior anchorperson Naeem Hanif revealed their approximate charges for performing at events in Pakistan.
Naeem Hanif said, “Rahat Fateh Ali Khan charges around Rs. 1 crore 25 lakh for a wedding performance. If he performs at another station, the charges increase, and they double if he performs abroad. Atif Aslam, according to my information, didn’t used to perform at weddings previously. However, about seven years ago, Malik Riaz offered him to perform at his grandson’s wedding. Atif asked for Rs. 1.5 crore just to refuse the offer, but Malik Riaz paid the amount. I think I even saw the invoice for that payment. After that, Atif Aslam started charging around Rs. 2 to 2.5 crore per performance. Abida Parveen usually does not perform due to her health, but if she does appear, she also charges a hefty amount, around $60,000 to $70,000. I believe the total cost of performances at that wedding was close to Rs. 7 crore. ” Watch here:
