Pakistani Footballer Reportedly Set to Join International Club

Pakistani midfielder Ali Uzair Mahmood has received an offer from Australian tier-3 State League club Adelaide Olympic FC for the full season.

According to reports, Ali Uzair is currently awaiting his visa, which will allow him to travel to Adelaide, sign the contract upon arrival, and join the club for pre-season preparations.

This potential move marks the latest step in a steady senior career that has seen him gain experience across multiple clubs and competitions.

Ali Uzair began his professional journey in the Pakistan Premier League with WAPDA in 2018. He joined Khan Research Laboratories in 2019 before returning to WAPDA in 2020.

In 2022, he featured for the Larkana Leopards in the Sindh Super League, where he played a key role in helping the team secure the championship and was named Player of the Tournament.

He continued to build his club career in October 2025 by signing for POPO FC. Two months later, he was loaned to Hoandedhdhoo FC to compete in the Maldives Atoll Championship.

Ali Uzair made his debut for the Pakistan national football team in a FIFA World Cup qualifier in 2019. As of November 2025, he has earned a total of 21 international caps.

In addition to his international duties, Ali Uzair enjoys a strong local fan following and remains a regular presence in the domestic club circuit.

Primarily operating as a defensive midfielder, Ali Uzair is known for his strong ball distribution and recovery skills.
