Pakistan Fast Bowler Exits BPL Mid-Season

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise, Sylhet Titans, have confirmed that Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir has parted ways with the franchise following a mutual understanding between both parties.

The franchise stated that 70 percent of Amir’s total contract fee has already been paid, in accordance with the terms agreed upon in his contract.

Ahead of his departure, Amir shared a farewell video message expressing gratitude to the Sylhet Titans management and support staff. He specifically acknowledged the care and hospitality provided during his time with the team.

“I am leaving now, but I want to thank everyone. The hospitality and the way the entire management looked after me was truly exceptional,” Amir said.

The Sylhet Titans management praised Mohammad Amir for his professionalism and contributions both on and off the field. While his absence will be felt for the remainder of the season, the franchise wished him success for future.

The team also expressed hope of working with the experienced pacer again in the upcoming seasons.

Sylhet Titans currently sit third on the points table in the Bangladesh Premier League, having played six matches with three wins and three losses.
