CDA to Hire Head Coach for Islamabad Cricket Team

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to hire a Head Coach for the CDA Islamabad Cricket Team to strengthen its performance in domestic and national competitions.

The coach will be responsible for both white-ball and red-ball formats and will provide professional coaching services to the departmental cricket team.

According to the announcement, the selected coach will lead game planning and match strategies, oversee pre- and post-tournament preparation, and carry out performance evaluations.

The role also includes improving player fitness standards with the support staff and enhancing individual skills to ensure consistent performance at departmental, domestic, and national levels.

CDA has set specific eligibility criteria for the position, including a minimum Level II cricket coaching accreditation and at least two years of coaching experience with national, franchise, or domestic teams.

Preference will be given to former international cricketers or individuals who have played more than 20 first-class matches, along with a proven record of coaching players to international standards.

Applicants are also expected to demonstrate strong planning, management, and analytical skills, along with the ability to monitor and evaluate modern coaching systems used at the international level. Effective communication skills and experience in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds have also been listed as key requirements.

Applications, along with attested copies of educational and experience documents, CNIC, domicile, and recent photographs, must be submitted by mail within 15 days of the advertisement.

The appointment will be made on a contract basis for an initial period of six months, extendable if required, while salary will be negotiable based on experience and skills. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews, and further details are available on the CDA website.
