He often makes headlines on social media due to his cases and controversies. Recently, Rajab Butt made news after he was beaten by lawyers on the court premises in Karachi.
Today, he shared a vlog in which he shared the details of what happened to him in Karachi. He also showed his mother’s reaction upon seeing the bruises he got in the recent beating incident which occurred in Karachi City Court.
When Rajab Butt arrived home, he met his mother, father, and sister and began showing his bruises one by one. He also requested his mother not to curse the lawyers and people who attacked him, saying, “They have injured me with their nails. See these scars; let me show you more. This is a wound from a knife, and here is another cut. They held me from my back for around 1.5 hours, which is why I have bruises all over my back. Let me show you—they were holding my shirt and shawl. How could I get myself released? I had cuts all over my body, and I could hardly sleep.” Rajab Butt’s mother, however, cursed the lawyers and attackers, saying, “A mother’s cries will be heard by Allah, I will curse them as they have beaten you mercilessly.” Watch the video:
