Pakistan Young Squash Players Win Big at Scottish Junior 2025

Pakistan’s junior squash players delivered outstanding performances at the Scottish Junior 2025, winning titles in both the Under-13 and Under-15 categories.

In the Under-13 final, Muhammad Mustafa defeated Hong Kong’s second seed Nicholas Man Soh with confidence and control to claim the championship. Mustafa remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, showing strong composure and skill in every match.

In the Under-15 category, Pakistan’s Sohail Adnan secured the title after defeating China’s Yuan Xi Liu in the final. Adnan delivered a dominant performance across all rounds, finishing the tournament with a flawless record and consistent play.

The victories by Muhammad Mustafa and Sohail Adnan highlight Pakistan’s strong presence in junior squash on the international stage.

It is important to note that the Pakistan Squash Federation had earlier decided to withdraw from the US Junior Open, Scottish Junior Open and British Junior Open due to concerns over players ages and changes in age categories.

However, despite the federation’s decision, more than a dozen Pakistani players chose to participate in the Scottish Junior Open.

Sources say the Pakistan Squash Federation will discuss the participation of these players in its upcoming meeting and decide on further action.
