A key visual and trailer have been revealed for the upcoming second installment of the Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! spinoff anime. The second part, also known as Act 2, is scheduled to be released in Japan on January 30, 2026.

The Motto Love Love Sakusen desu! spinoff anime contains a total of four parts (labelled as Acts) and will be screening in Japanese theaters. Act 1 premiered on December 26, 2025, with Act 3 set to debut on March 6, 2026 and Act 4 on April 10, 2026.
Masami Shimoda (ZEGAPAIN) is directing the Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! anime, with Takahiko Usui (Girls und Panzer das Finale Episode 3 co-unit director) as assistant director / series director, and Noboru Kimura (Solo Leveling series composer and co-scriptwriter) as series composer and scriptwriter. P.A.WORKS and Actas are in charge of the animation production.
Motto Love Love Sakusen desu! is based on the 4-koma manga series Illustrated by Maruko Nii, which has been serialized in KADOKAWA’s Monthly Comic Alive since May 27, 2013. Twenty-three tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of March 2025.
Meanwhile, the Girls und Panzer das Finale das Finale six-part theatrical OVA series has so far released four episodes since 2017. The upcoming fifth installment is expected to premiere in Japanese theaters sometime in 2026.

Both anime are part of the Girls und Panzer franchise where cute girls engage in tank combat (as a sport). The original TV anime series premiered in 2012 and was followed by 2015’s Girls und Panzer der Film.
