On Saturday, the influencer shared a series of photos of Molly, alongside a deeply emotional Instagram post.

“On Christmas morning, our sweet Molly girl and her big sister Abi were reunited,” Carlton bravely shared.

“This is the only thing giving me even a small sense of comfort. Molly missed her sister so deeply.

“We are devastated. In disbelief. Confused and in shock.

“We are exhausted and shaken after a day filled with trauma and heartbreak.

“I feel numb. I cannot yet accept that this is real. I am not ready for this pain.”

Carlton went on to express how overwhelmed her family was by the outpouring of support and prayers they had received.

The devastated mother also shares two other children, Harry and Lily, with her husband Tom.

She later provided an update, revealing while they do not yet have an official cause of death for Molly, doctors suspect both girls had the same condition.

“I hesitate to share a medical update already because we still don’t have an official diagnosis,” Carlton later posted.

“But I do feel it’s important to let people know that we have some answers this time.

“The doctors believe Molly had a genetic heart condition and suspect this may have been the case with Abi as well.”

Carlton said she was sharing the information in the hope it could help other families who have experienced sudden, unexpected death in children.

“This understanding came because Molly was able to be monitored in the hospital, which we were not able to do with Abi,” Carlton added.

“I’ve never felt satisfied with the answers we were given for her.

“But this type of condition, we’ve been told that even a minor illness could potentially trigger a sudden cardiac event.”

Carlton added: “Her little body fought so hard, but we’ve been told that this type of cardiac event is, in most cases, not survivable.”

The family suffered their first loss in April 2024, when Carlton shared on Instagram that Abigail had died unexpectedly, expressing at the time their heartbreak and devastation.

“I hope we will get more answers soon and will be doing more genetic investigation for our family now we have possibly a clearer avenue to explore,” Carlton said in her most recent post.

“We are grateful for every single one of you.”
