The official Twitter/X for the ongoing Chinese donghua series The Fated Magical Princess: Who Made Me a Princess has unveiled a “climax” visual, ahead of the 16th and final episode of the Japanese language dub version.

The series debuted in China, via iQIYI, on September 28, 2025, with the first three episodes of the Japanese dub version also being streamed on Crunchyroll on the same day. The Japanese dub then began broadcasting on Japanese TV on October 2, 2025.
iQIYI and KuaiKan are involved in the general non-animation production of the donghua series, while KADOKAWA is credited with the Japanese dub production. Zhang Yingying is directing the series at animation studio Colored Pencil Animation.

The series began as a web novel written by Plutus, which later inspired a manhwa webtoon series illustrated by Spoon, which was published from December 20, 2017 to April 30, 2022. Nine total volumes were released. The web novel is available in English on Tapas and WebNovel, while the manhwa is available on both Tapas and Tappytoon. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manhwa adaptation for English release.
