Two female flight attendants of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) were suspended after they got into a physical fight at Jeddah airport.
The incident involved crew members of a PIA flight scheduled to operate from Jeddah to Multan. The scuffle broke out between the two air hostesses in the departure lounge of Jeddah airport.
They added that the argument quickly turned physical. A PIA officer then intervened and separated the two crew members to prevent the situation from escalating further.
A video of the altercation later surfaced on social media and started circulating online, drawing public attention to the incident.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed the incident and stated that the clash took place on December 23. The spokesperson said the airline’s management took notice of the matter soon after it was reported.
As a result, PIA suspended both flight attendants while an internal inquiry is carried out. The airline said disciplinary action will follow in line with company rules once the investigation is complete.
