A TV anime adaptation of the Kaiju Girl Caramelise manga has been announced with a 2026 premiere date. A teaser trailer and teaser visual are also out.
Hikari Senga is protagonist Kuroe Akaishi, a high-school girl with a “mysterious illness” and social awkwardness. When she realizes that she’s fallen for popular classmate Arata Minami (Daishi Kajita), Kuroe’s “dormant power” is awakened.
Teruyuki Omine is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS with Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!, BanG Dream!) as series composer and NUT’s Mitomi Nakayama as character designer.
Aside from Senga and Kajita, the cast includes Akira Sekine as Manatsu Tomosato, Haruka Shiraishi as Raimu Kono, Kotono Mitsuishi as Rinko Akaishi, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kotaro Hibino, and Eriko Matsui as Jumbo King.

The Kaiju Girl Caramelise manga by Spica Aoki debuted in KADOKAWA’s Monthly comic alive in 2018 and has eight volumes under the MF Comics Alive Series label as of 2024.
