Season 2 of Black Clover anime adaptation revealed a teaser visual, trailer, and 2026 premiere date. Studio Pierrot is animating the sequel.
The new teaser visual features Asta in his demonic form:
The sequel was announced this summer, four years after the first season concluded. Pierrot animated the adaptation with Tatsuya Yoshihara and Ayataka Tanemura as directors. Yoshihara became the Chief Director after Episode 152, and Tanemura took over from the Assistant Director position. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (episodes 1-152) and Kan’ichi Kato (episodes 153-170) did the series composition. The anime uses character designs by Itsuko Takeda.
The anime is based on Yuki Tabata’s manga. The manga began in 2015 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and then moved to Jump GIGA in late 2023.
