Wine tours are fun, but they’re less fun for the designated driver. Someone’s gotta be the responsible one, right? Well, not at these places. These Victorian wineries also double as hotels. No need for buses, designated drivers, or spitting into silver buckets.
You can guzzle Pinot and sav blanc to your heart’s content, then crash upstairs in a double bedroom with vineyard views.
Here’s Urban List’s picks of the top winery accommodation Victoria has to offer for 2026.

The Wine Farm Cottage
A literal toddle from The Wine Farm vineyard sits The Wine Farm Cottage, a three-bed spot with beaches, the South Gippsland Rail Trail, farmers markets and more within easy reach. Gather the crew and bring the dog too, because this Victorian winery stay is pet-friendly by arrangement.
Talking of pets, this vineyard—home to Hawkins Family wines— is known for its seriously good pet nat (we’re talking a rich, dry wine with deliciously fine bubbles). Fancy having some vino in stock for your stay? Just let the hosts know ahead of your arrival and they’ll pop some in the fridge for you to quaff.
Grab a bottle and head to the lawn in front of the winery to enjoy your very own picnic. You can take a stroll among the vines after if you like. Later, there’s the option to fire up the outdoor barbecue on the deck of your cottage for a steak feast (if you’re not too full already), or just sit around the fire pit and tell stories across the flames.
