We last left the Stranger Things gang on a wild cliffhanger. Based on the trailer for Season 5, Vol. 2 released by Netflix today, things don’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
Following an absolute blood bath at the conclusion of Vol. 1, the next chapter of Stranger Things sees our heroes facing unimaginable peril as they fight to bring home the children that Vecna has kidnapped.

Aside from the chills and thrills, what’s most exciting about this trailer for Vol. 2 is the hint that we may finally learn more about the Upside Down and it’s true purpose. Credit to creators the Duffer brothers for keeping that such an intriguing mystery until the very end.
The series stars Millie Bobby Brown (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Noah Schnapp (Hubie Halloween), Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice), David Harbour (Violent Night), Finn Wolfhard (Hell of a Summer), Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink (Fear Street), Natalia Dyer (Velvet Buzzsaw), Charlie Heaton (The New Mutants), Joe Keery (Spree), Maya Hawke (The Kill Room), Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman (Boy Kills World), Jamie Campbell Bower, Cara Buono (She Came from the Woods), and Amybeth McNulty, with Linda Hamilton (The Terminator), Nell Fisher (Evil Dead Rise), Alex Breaux and Jake Connelly joining this time around.
Stranger Things Season 5, Vol. 2 arrives on Netflix December 25th, with the series finale — also in theaters — following on December 31.
