A TV anime adaptation of the Iron Wok Jan (Tetsunabe no Jan) manga has been announced. It’ll be ready to be served in 2026.
Ei Aoki (Overtake, Re: CREATORS, Aldnoah Zero) is directing the anime at TROYCA.
Iron Wok Jan was created by Shinji Saijo, who drew a visual accompanying the anime’s announcement. The manga was serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion from 1995 to 2000 and features a protagonist, Jan Akiyama, who has a competitive view of cooking. The original manga has inspired sequels and spin-offs.
