They join a previously announced voice cast that stars Shunichi Toki as Illusia, Ami Koshimizu as the voice of God, and Miku Ito as Myria.

The trailer also highlights the opening theme “Gliding Claw” by Sizuk and ending theme “Sky Clipper” by TAO and SAK.

Square Enix would later acquire the light novels for its SQUEX Novel imprint and published the 13th volume on January 7, 2021. Sixteen volumes have been released in Japan as of June 2022.

The light novels also inspired a manga adaptation by Rio in September 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novels and manga adaptation for English release.

HIDIVE will exclusively stream Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. It describes the main premise as:

Our hero needs to come out of his shell… literally! Reborn in another world inside a dragon egg, he doesn’t have the amazing magic or mighty physical strength of your typical isekai’d adventurer just yet. He’ll need to break free and grow from a weak hatchling and into a fearsome beast if he wants to escape the deep, dark forest unscathed. What battles and adventures await him in this unique take on the isekai phenomenon?
