Unlike The Game Awards 2025 last Thursday, Konami’s Silent Hill f was the big winner at The Horror Game Awards 2025. Nominated in six categories, NeoBard’s survival horror hit took home four awards, including the coveted Game of the Year.
Apart from Silent Hill f, the only other multiple award winner was Frankie Smile Show’s Look Outside, which took home Best Art Direction (beating out Silent Hill f) and Best Indie Horror Game. DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Midnight Walk added to their trophy cases from last week, winning Best Soundtrack and Best VR Horror Game, respectively. The Midnight Walk also won for Best AR/VR Game at The Game Awards 2025.
And unlike The Game Awards, there was no Grand Theft Auto VI to stop Resident Evil Requiem, which won Most Anticipated Horror Game.
Hosted by its co-creators Phil Dickens and Will Penkeyman, alongside co-producer Ash Millman, this year marked the first time that The Horror Game Awards was hosted live and in-person at at the Kensington Conference and Events Centre.
