In a full Boxing Day morning of live sport for local viewers, the showcase is known in the U.S. as NFL Christmas Gameday, an established holiday tradition that made its Netflix debut last year with a blockbuster broadcast featuring Mariah Carey and Beyoncé.
This year’s Boxing Gameday will feature two live NFC rivalry clashes on 26 December AEDT, delivering back to back football across the morning.

The Dallas Cowboys face the Washington Commanders at the early time of 5.00AM AEDT from Northwest Stadium in Maryland.
Then the Detroit Lions meet the Minnesota Vikings at the more respectable time of 8.30AM AEDT from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
As Netflix presses further into live sport and entertainment broadcasting, NFL Boxing Gameday may continue shaping up to be a Boxing Day morning tradition for many local viewers down under.
