Sui Southern Announces Gas Supply Timings for 2 Provinces

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a fixed gas supply schedule for Sindh and Balochistan to ensure an uninterrupted supply during the winter season.

According to SSGC, the Director General of Gas has directed that gas be provided in both provinces from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.

Officials emphasized that areas experiencing low gas pressure should be closely monitored during morning briefings, and any supply issues must be resolved promptly.

SSGC also warned that negligence in addressing gas pressure problems will lead to action against the responsible zonal heads, underlining the importance of accountability during the peak winter period.

Earlier, it was reported that the gas prices for consumers in Sindh and Balochistan may rise. SSGC had submitted a request to OGRA seeking an increase of Rs. 125.41 per MMBTU for the current financial year. If approved, the average gas price in these provinces would be set at Rs. 1,783.96 per MMBTU.
