The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that tickets for the highly anticipated Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will go on sale today.
According to the ICC, ticket sales will open at 6:15 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
The cricket governing body shared the update on its official social media channels, stating: “Your seat is waiting. Grab your tickets to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 when sales open on 11 December at 6:45 PM IST and join fans from around the world in the stands.”
The ICC has not yet released details about ticket categories, pricing, or other purchase guidelines. These are expected to be revealed once the sale officially begins later today.
The 10th edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
A total of 20 teams will compete, divided into four groups of five, with the top two teams from each group moving into the Super Eight stage. This stage will feature two pools of four teams each.
The tournament will open with Pakistan facing the Netherlands, while India, the hosts and defending champions, will take on the United States of America (USA) in Mumbai on the same day.
The group stage will end on February 20 with a match between Australia and Oman in Kandy. The Super Eight round is scheduled from February 21 to March 1, followed by the two semi-finals on March 4 and 5.
The final will take place on March 8, either in Ahmedabad or Colombo, depending on Pakistan’s qualification. Pakistan will play all of its matches in Sri Lanka.
