VIZ Media announced on its Twitter/X account that it has added Inoue’s yuri manga series #Gal x Gal Yuri as a new simulpub title for its VIZ Manga service. The first 11 chapters of the series are now available on the VIZ Manga app and the company’s main website.
VIZ describes the #Gal x Gal Yuri manga with the brief tagline: “two gals decide to be more than pals.”
Inoue, who is also known as Koharu Inoue, launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry app and website on June 10, 2025. The first tankobon volume will be published in Japan on December 26, 2025.
Inoue previously serialized the romantic comedy manga series The Duke of Death and His Maid in Sunday Webry from October 3, 2017 to May 17, 2022. A total of 16 tankobon volumes were released in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga for English release.
The Duke of Death and His Maid inspired three anime seasons from J.C.Staff and SMDE that were released in 2021, 2023, and 2024 respectively. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime worldwide, in select countries and territories.
