Chaos has erupted outside Old Trafford as hundreds of Man Utd fans were stuck at the turnstiles before their clash with West Ham.
Supporters reported missing the start of the Thursday night game due to poor stewarding at the iconic stadium.
The delays were reportedly partly due to the length of the searches conducted by stewards.
There was also a shift to NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for stadium entry, according to the Sun.
The club announced that people should ensure they have downloaded their tickets.
One supporter told the publication: “This is the worst I’ve ever seen it.”
It follows the same problems as last week, with widespread reports of issues with fans entering the Stretford End when their side faced Everton.
A fan posted on social media: “United need to do better for their fans. It has been like this all season when trying to get into the Stretford End and all around Old Trafford.”

Another supporter described the delay as a “s******.”
A Manchester United spokesman issued a statement following last week’s clash.
They said: “We understand the frustration of fans caught in queues close to kick-off and we are constantly looking for ways to improve flows, including deploying additional stewarding staff to help deal with any issues causing hold-ups at turnstiles.
“However, in general, digital ticketing has been working well and there were no systemic problems reported last night.”

They added: “The best way to avoid queues is to arrive at the stadium in plenty of time before kick-off, although we do appreciate that this can be more difficult for midweek games, and that many fans were affected by traffic congestion around the ground last night.”
Once inside the stadium, fans watched a disappointing 1-1 draw against West Ham.

The Portuguese defender’s strike appeared to have set the hosts on course for victory, but Soungoutou Magassa had other ideas.
The West Ham midfielder netted his first goal for the club from a corner in the 84th minute, denying Ruben Amorim’s side all three points.
This marked the first Premier League stalemate between these clubs since July 2020.
The dropped points leave United languishing in eighth position in the table.
