2 Pakistanis Make Forbes 30 Under 30 for 2026

Salman Habib and Hassan Chaudhry, two prominent Pakistanis, have secured spots on the Forbes “30 Under 30 United States 2026” list, which highlights leading young innovators and entrepreneurs across America.

Salman Habib

Salman Habib was selected in the “Transportation & Aerospace” category. He is the co-founder and CEO of Burq, a platform that helps businesses offer delivery services without creating their own logistics infrastructure. Salman and his older brother Shaban launched Burq in 2021, and the company has since built a nationwide delivery network by combining more than 500 service providers, including Uber and DoorDash, operating in over 4,000 cities across the U.S. Burq has raised over $10 million in funding and works with major grocery chains such as Albertsons, Safeway, and Kroger.

Reacting to the recognition, Salman said appearing on the Forbes list felt surreal. In a post on X, he wrote that he is excited about the future and grateful to everyone who has supported the company’s journey.

Hassan Chaudry

Hassan Chaudhry was listed in the “Venture Capital” category. He serves as a vice president at BlackRock Private Equity Partners, where he leads growth equity investments from Series C to pre-IPO stages. Born in Pakistan, Hassan returned to BlackRock in 2023 to help establish its Growth Equity platform. Over the past two years, he has invested more than $800 million through this initiative.

According to Forbes, Hassan’s work includes three exits and key investments in companies such as Groq, where he acted as Series D lead and board observer, and Applied Intuition, where he co-led the Series F round alongside Kleiner Perkins. He has also been part of the LPAC for Glasswing Ventures II, a woman-led seed-stage artificial intelligence fund based in Boston.
