Today in Adelaide, the weather is improving as cloud cover begins to clear. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 22 degrees. Light winds from the west to southwest will pick up to 15 to 20 km/h in the late afternoon before calming by the evening.
Tomorrow, the forecast predicts a mostly sunny day with daytime temperatures rising to a maximum of 30 degrees. The minimum temperature will chill to 13 degrees. Winds will shift from northeasterly in the morning to north to northwesterly, picking up to 20 to 30 km/h, before settling back to a northeasterly direction towards the evening at 15 to 20 km/h.
Thursday will be partly cloudy with a predicted maximum of 33 degrees and a minimum of 21 degrees. Wind conditions will vary throughout the day. Starting from northwest to northeasterly at 25 to 35 km/h, winds will shift to northwest to southwesterly and then taper off to south to southeasterly towards the evening.
Friday will bring sunny skies with temperatures cooling slightly; the high is expected to reach 26 degrees after a morning low of 14 degrees.
The weekend will see some variation in weather patterns. Saturday forecasts a few showers with temperatures peaking at only 22 degrees after a low of 15 degrees. On Sunday, conditions will improve slightly with partly cloudy skies and temperatures ranging from 11 degrees to a high of 23 degrees.
Across South Australia, a high-pressure system near the WA and SA border is predicted to influence the weather for the upcoming days. It will traverse eastwards, being positioned over the Tasman Sea by Wednesday. This movement will allow a low-pressure trough to pass over SA on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by another ridge of high pressure.
In regional forecasts, isolated light showers are expected only about the Lower South East during the morning today, with possible fog patches in the west. Wednesday will generally be dry, though variations in temperature will occur across different regions.
