The sequel to the Eagles near perfect Super Bowl run from a year ago appears to be running out of chances. Only twenty-four hours after the Cowboys beat the reigning AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium — the Eagles dropped their second game in a row at home to the Chicago Bears 24–15.

Adding insult to injury — was the fact that this game is the first one since 1985 that the Bears had two running backs over 100 yards and the most yards (281 in total) that the Eagles have surrendered on the ground since 1963. That season was the Bears first Super Bowl appearance. Once again the Eagles offense looked lackluster only scoring three points in the first half.
The Bears scored on a four-yard run from DeAndre Swift and a four-yard run from Kyle Monagai. In the fourth quarter — Caleb Williams found Cole Kmet for a 28-yard score.
The Eagles appeared to be mounting a comeback in the third quarter after a Jalen Hurts to AJ Brown touchdown followed by an incredible Jalyx Hunt tipped ball and interception.
Devonta Smith was injured late in the game but did return. AJ Brown added a 4-yard score in late in the 4th quarter. Jake Elliott missed an extra point and a field goal as well. The Eagles play next Monday night against the Chargers trying to keep pace to win the Division and any chance at the #1 Seed in the NFC Playoffs.
