Tarantino’s Kill Bill Uncut Edition Hits Theaters December 5

Quentin Tarantino’s long-awaited Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, the uncut director’s cut merging Volumes 1 and 2 into a single 4-hour-35-minute unrated revenge saga, premieres in theatres nationwide on December 5, 2025, via Lionsgate.

This fulfils Tarantino’s original vision, eliminating the Volume 1 cliffhanger and Volume 2 recap for seamless storytelling, while adding a never-before-seen 7.5-minute anime sequence in the O-Ren chapter and restoring colour to the House of Blue Leaves fight.

Select screenings feature 70mm and 35mm formats for immersive viewing, with Tarantino urging fans to catch it cinematically first.

Uma Thurman returns as The Bride, hunting Deadly Viper Assassination Squad members—including Lucy Liu’s O-Ren, Vivica A. Fox’s Vernita Green, Michael Madsen’s Budd, and Daryl Hannah’s Elle Driver—before facing David Carradine’s Bill, who ambushed her wedding and stole her daughter.

Trailers highlight intensified action, extended violence, and a shocking late twist revealing the daughter’s survival, building to a more emotional climax. Originally split for theatrical release in 2003-2004 after a 2006 Cannes preview, this edition includes new footage for heightened impact.
