Pakistan is set to meet Sri Lanka in the final of the Tri-Series 2025/26 on Saturday, 29 November. The Men in Green qualified as the winners of the round-robin stage, having lost one match to Sri Lanka in the last group game. Meanhwhile, Sri Lanka lost two matches, one against Pakistan and the other against Zimbabwe.
The two sides will be looking to put on their ‘A’ game and get their hands on the trophy as they prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka in a couple of months.
Pakistan is expected to field their strongest eleven, which might see the return of pacers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf in the final. Shahen, who was suffering from a foot injury has now recovered and will be raring to go once again.
All eyes now turn to Rawalpindi to see whether Pakistan or Sri Lanka can put on a show for the fans and win the trophy for their respecrive countries.
