School camp instructor charged over alleged sexual touching of young girls in NSW

An 18-year-old man has been refused bail over the alleged sexual assault of three young girls at school camp.

The instructor is alleged to have inappropriately touched the 11-year-olds while checking their harnesses during camp activities on October 23 and 24.

Reports were made to the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse Squad earlier this month, leading to the man’s arrest at a home in Harrington Park, in Sydney’s southwest, about 11.10am on Tuesday.

He was taken to Camden Police Station, where he was charged with thirteen counts of intentionally sexual touching of a child aged between 10 and 16-years-old.
