Pakistan has won the Snooker Team World Cup 2025 by defeating Hong Kong in a thrilling final.

Pakistan triumphed 3-2 in the best-of-five frames final of the IBSF Team World Cup being played in Muscat.

The Pakistani duo — national cueists Asjad Iqbal and Muhammad Asif — outclassed Hong Kong’s Chao Hon Man and Nissen Wan to secure the prestigious title.

A day earlier, the Pakistani snooker players had qualified for the final after beating India.

In the semifinal, the pair of Muhammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal delivered an outstanding performance to overpower India’s Pankaj Advani and Brijesh Damani with a 3-1 victory
