Cameras officially rolled on horror parody legacy sequel Scary Movie 6 last month.
Fans are already aware that Scary Movie creators Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, and Keenan-Ivory Wayans are producing the project. Add to that the return of legacy cast members like Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Dave Sheridan, and Loclyn Munro, and you have a movie that’s gotten fans very excited.
However, now we have news that more cast members from 2000’s Scary Movie are set to reprise their beloved roles.
Actress Cheri Oteri has confirmed she will return as Gail Hailstorm, a universally adored parody of Courteney Cox’s Gail Weathers of Scream.
Terrifier 3 star Jon Abrams is also aboard to reprise his role as Bobby Prinze, the former boyfriend of Anna Faris’ Cindy Campbell.
Finally, Scary Movie series regular Chris Elliott has also joined the cast, marking his third turn in the franchise. It is currently unknown if Elliott will reprise is role of Hanson from Scary Movie 2, or if the actor will play an entirely new character.
With the Wayans Brothers crafting the script and overseeing production, and so many original cast members returning, Scary Movie 6 looks set to be a reunion for the ages.
The film is set to hit screens on June 12th 2026, and we’re quite sure it’ll have audiences screaming with laughter.
