Heavy metal giants Disturbed announce Adelaide show on first headline Australian tour in over a decade

Heavy metal heavyweights Disturbed are heading back to Australia for their first headline tour in over a decade, and they’re bringing one massive night of music to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

The multi-platinum rock band will hit Adelaide on Monday, May 3, 2027, as part of their seven-date Australia and New Zealand tour, and fans are in for a double dose of Disturbed.

Rather than a traditional concert, the band will deliver two full sets, kicking things off by performing their legendary debut album The Sickness in its entirety before returning after an intermission for a second set packed with their greatest hits.

Released in 2000, The Sickness helped launch Disturbed onto the world stage, going on to achieve five-times Platinum certification in the United States and spending an impressive 106 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.

For longtime fans, the chance to hear the album performed from start to finish is a rare treat, especially alongside a career-spanning collection of the band’s biggest anthems.

And there’s plenty to choose from!

With more than 17 million units sold and nearly 14 billion streams worldwide, Disturbed have built an impressive catalogue over their career, including massive tracks like Down With The Sickness, Stricken, Inside The Fire, Land of Confusion and their haunting rendition of The Sound of Silence.

Both Down With The Sickness and The Sound of Silence have surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, earning the band a place in the platform’s Billions Club.

The band have also continued to dominate rock radio, with their latest single, I Will Not Break, reaching number one on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart, marking their 19th chart-topper.

The upcoming tour follows a hugely successful run of shows across North America, the UK and Europe, where the band performed to more than half a million fans.

Their 2027 tour will kick off in Auckland on April 22 before travelling to Christchurch, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.

For Adelaide fans eager to secure their spot, tickets won’t be far away.

The artist presale begins on Wednesday, October 28 at 12pm, followed by the Live Nation presale on Thursday, October 29 at 12pm.

General public tickets go on sale on Friday, October 30 at 1pm, with all times local.

Whether you’ve been blasting The Sickness since 2000 or discovered Disturbed through their more recent hits, this is shaping up to be one seriously loud night in Adelaide.
