Police believe a grey or black SUV, possibly an older model of a Honda Pilot, was involved in the crash.
Norwood police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday that injured two people.
Around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Norwood police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two pedestrians near Washington and Day Streets, the department said on social media. Both pedestrians were transported to a local hospital, police said. The department did not share their conditions.
The driver fled the scene by continuing southbound on Washington Street “without stopping to assist or identify themselves,” police said.
The vehicle is believed to be a grey or black SUV, possibly an older model of a Honda Pilot, police said. Police expect there to be damage to one or both headlights from the crash.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash or who sees a vehicle matching the description should reach out to Norwood police at 781-762-1212 or [email protected], police said.
