One person was killed in a double shooting in Worcester on Sunday, police said.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., Worcester police responded to two ShotSpotter activations at 350 Southbridge St., which is the address for the adult entertainment club Hurricane Betty’s, the department said in a Facebook post Tuesday.

Officers who responded found two males suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. Both were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where one of the victims later died.

An employee at Hurricane Betty’s hung up when asked to comment on the shooting over the phone Wednesday night.

The investigation into the shooting by Worcester police and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office is ongoing. No further information was available Wednesday night, the DA’s office said.
