Welcome back!

We’re in October! I honestly keep thinking I’m in September because the month ended so quickly and I feel like I’m trying to catch up.

One thing I’ve diving deep into is really good slow cooker meals or meals that freeze really well. We plan to try and stock our freezer with things that can be easily reheated (especially during a New England winter) while we deal with a brand new human.

I’m a solo developer, and I made a word game for my wife to play while she listens to audiobooks. It’s called Word Herd. There’s no sound at all, so it never competes with the book, and rounds are short enough to put down mid-chapter. You trace words on a 4×4 grid of letters, and every word you find adds a sheep to your flock.

There’s a daily puzzle that’s the same for everyone, offline solo play, and matches against friends. It’s free on Android through the Google Play store.
