Adelaide has a new place to stay — and its rooftop might have one of the best vantage points in the city.
Little National Hotel Adelaide has officially opened at 100 North Terrace, marking the brand’s first South Australian property and a $100 million investment in the CBD.
The 21-storey hotel features 237 rooms, including Little National’s first-ever penthouses, along with apartments, a sprawling fitness centre, meeting spaces and a rooftop lounge and bar offering 360-degree views across Adelaide.
It is the fourth Little National hotel opened by Canberra-based DOMA Group, joining properties in Canberra, Sydney and Newcastle.
DOMA Managing Director Jure Domazet said Adelaide was a natural choice for the brand’s next expansion.

“Adelaide is a city with a strong cultural identity, a growing visitor economy and an exciting calendar of major events,” Jure said.
“Adelaide has allowed us to take that philosophy a step further, introducing larger accommodation options, apartments and our first-ever penthouses, while retaining the design, quality and value that define Little National.”
Designed by Bates Smart, the hotel occupies the entire 21-storey building and sits within walking distance of Adelaide Oval, the Convention Centre, Riverbank precinct, universities and the Art Gallery of South Australia.
Across 18 accommodation levels are 140 Little National Rooms, 26 larger ‘Big’ Rooms and 48 one and two-bedroom suites, giving guests options ranging from short business trips through to longer stays and family visits.
At the top end are two luxury penthouses — a first for Little National — with larger living spaces and private bars stocked with premium South Australian wines.
But arguably the biggest drawcard sits right at the top.
Level 21 is home to a rooftop lounge and bar designed by Luchetti Krelle, with panoramic views stretching across the Adelaide Hills, River Torrens parklands and towards the coastline.
The level includes a guest-exclusive lounge as well as a public bar, with spaces designed for dining, working, private gatherings or simply settling in with the city spread out below.
Light meals and tapas will be served throughout the day and evening.
Guests will also have access to a 250sqm Technogym-equipped fitness centre overlooking North Terrace, while dedicated meeting facilities cater for seminars, conferences and private events.
The opening comes as Adelaide continues to grow its calendar of major sporting, cultural and business events, adding another large accommodation option to one of the city’s busiest precincts.
Premier Peter Malinauskas and Jure Domazet marked the opening on Tuesday, October 6, alongside representatives from the South Australian Tourism Commission, Business Events Adelaide, Showcase SA, Australian Hotels Association and South Australian Business Chamber.
Little National Hotel Adelaide is now open at 100 North Terrace, Adelaide, with rooms starting from $239 per night. Find out more here.
