Patritti’s 100th Birthday Party | Oct 5
The October long weekend will see Patritti transformed for its 100th Birthday Party, with five days of events, live music, food and giveaways planned from Thursday, October 1st through to Monday, October 5th. The winery is especially unique as it is Adelaide’s last remaining fully operational, 100 per cent family-owned winery located in the metro area.

Semaphore Music Festival | Oct 5
One of Adelaide’s longest-running independent music festivals is set to return this October, transforming Semaphore into a sprawling live music precinct across the Labour Day long weekend.
Now in its 22nd year, the Semaphore Music Festival will run from Friday, October 2th to Monday, October 5th, bringing together original South Australian artists across pubs, cafés, community venues, record stores, a church hall and the foreshore.

The State Foundation Cup | Oct 6 – 9
One of South Australia’s biggest celebrations of regional junior tennis is returning to the Riverland next week, with 180 young players set to take over Berri Tennis Club and a familiar local tennis star joining them on court.
The State Foundation Cup will run from October 6 to 9, bringing players from regional communities across South Australia together for four days of team and individual competition.

Bill Bailey Vaudevillean live show | Oct 6
Bill Bailey is heading back to Adelaide this October, bringing his brand-new live show Vaudevillean to Thebarton Theatre for one night only.
Set for Tuesday, October 6, the Adelaide date forms part of the award-winning UK comedian, musician and actor’s new Australian tour, which follows his sold-out 2023 run.
The new show taps into the rich spirit of vaudeville, the grand era of live entertainment that came before streaming, television, cinema and even radio. Long before modern screens took over, vaudeville was where audiences gathered for comedy, music and a curious mix of acts designed to entertain, surprise and delight.

South Australians will have another opportunity to hear directly from experts about H5 bird flu.
The forum will be held at the Willunga Football Clubrooms on Tuesday, October 6 from 6pm to 7.30pm, bringing together experts across animal, human and environmental health as the state’s response to the disease continues.
Minister for Climate, Environment and Water Emily Bourke will attend alongside representatives from PIRSA, the Department for Environment and Water and SA Health.

The Centre Is Your Runway | Oct 5 – 11
Forget the catwalk, Rundle Place is getting a fashion-forward makeover this ADL Fashion Week, with Adelaide’s next generation of TAFE SA designers turning the shopping centre into a seriously unexpected runway.
Called The Centre Is Your Runway, the free exhibition will see a 20-metre stretch of Rundle Place filled with mannequins showcasing pieces created by graduating and emerging fashion students.
Rather than simply displaying the garments, the installation has been designed to tell the stories behind them, with runway-style floor decals guiding shoppers through the exhibition and sharing details about each designer, their inspiration and the creative thinking behind each piece.

That’s the question at the heart of & Juliet, the global hit musical turning Shakespeare’s famous love story on its head, and Adelaide audiences will soon get to see the spectacular production brought to life by a cast of 45 emerging performers.

Rundle Place Style Session with Mirella Romano | Oct 8
As part of Adelaide Fashion Week, Rundle Place is set to host an intimate styling session with one of Adelaide’s most recognisable fashion names, Mirella Romano.
With just 50 tickets available, the 30-minute session will see models walk through the audience in looks Mirella has sourced from Rundle Place retailers, while she explains why each outfit works and how individual pieces can be styled in different ways.
Mirella has long been part of Adelaide’s fashion scene, having previously worked as the fashion stylist for the Sunday Mail for 18 years and built a career around fashion, styling and editorial.

School Holidays UNPLUGGED at Woodhouse Adventure Park | Sept 28 – Oct 9
Kids can swap screens for fresh air and adventure at Woodhouse Adventure Park these school holidays, with its fully facilitated School Holidays UNPLUGGED ‘Drop & Go’ Day Camps running from September 28 to October 9.
Designed for kids aged five to 12, the camps offer a different theme each day, from Treasure Hunters and Weird Science to Viking Raiders and Rock & Roll, with activities across 54 hectares in the Adelaide Hills. Each day runs from 9am to 5pm, with drop-off from 8:30am, and finishes with Tube Slides, weather permitting. Tickets are $80 per day, with Scout Members saving 20 per cent.
