Sam Pang Tonight is heading back to 10, with Sam Pang returning behind the desk for a third season of the comedy talk show this October.
After really finding its feet across its first two seasons last year, Sam Pang Tonight will return with more monologues, celebrity interviews, sketches and the “anything-could-happen” energy of Wheel Of Segments — and hopefully plenty more of what made the second season work.
The show premiered to much hype in March 2025 before returning for a second eight-episode season in October, with the format continuing to build around Pang’s particular brand of self-deprecating humour and offbeat celebrity interviews.

The second season featured big-name international guests including Rosie O’Donnell, Priscilla Presley, Michael Weatherly and Eddie Izzard, while closer to home Russell Crowe, Rachel Griffiths, Angus Sampson and Harriet Dyer were also among those who joined Pang.
Pang has also had plenty keeping him busy away from the desk, including starring in the ABC’s Ground Up during 2026, so it’s been almost a year since viewers last saw a full season of Sam Pang Tonight.
In typical 10 fashion, the new promo features one of the show’s recurring jokes, with the guest chair once again getting some attention. Whether that means guests can expect a new — and presumably more comfortable — chair this time around remains to be seen.
Now, with Pang fresh from winning the Gold Logie earlier this year, the third season will see him back in the Monday night timeslot, taking over from Have You Been Paying Attention? when its 2026 season wraps in the next few weeks.
