The New England Patriots are the reigning AFC East champions, but you wouldn’t know looking at them right now. At 1-2 and coming off a 35-6 blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, they are struggling to recapture last year’s magic.
The Buffalo Bills have none of those issues. The 2025 division runner-ups are 3-0 and despite some hiccups in their Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers are looking like one of the best teams in the NFL right now.
Unsurprisingly, the Bills are therefore heavy favorites over the Patriots in Week 4, as as a look at the odds presented by FanDuel Sportsbook shows.
Odds for Patriots vs. Bills in NFL Week 4
The Patriots visiting Buffalo as underdogs is nothing new. Last year, for instance, they were seen as 9-point ‘dogs heading into a Week 5 matchup with the then-undefeated Bills — a game they eventually ended up winning 23-20 in upset fashion.
Of course, no two teams and circumstances are alike. For the Patriots to pull off a similar upset this time around, significant improvement is needed.
Kickoff between the two AFC East rivals in Orchard Park, NY, is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 4.
