As powerful winds and rain ramp up in New England, here’s a look at the impact of the early season nor’easter throughout the weekend.
“Strong winds and rough seas along with a prolonged period of steady rain across the region are expected through this weekend,” the National Weather Service reported Saturday. “Beach erosion, coastal flooding, and wind damage including downed limbs and power outages are our main concerns. Rain lasts through Monday. Flash flooding is not a major concern with this system, though nuisance flooding in urban and poor drainage areas cannot be ruled out.”
