The Patriots made changes to the practice squad Monday, cutting two players and adding two to the mix.

The Patriots made four changes to the practice squad Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the team.

They cut running back Hasan Haskins and safety Elliott Davison. They signed receiver Chandler Brayboy and linebacker Xavier Holmes.

Following Haskins’s release, the Patriots have Lan Larrison as the only running back on the practice squad. They traded for Corey Kiner to fill the third running back spot. Kiner had six carries for 11 yards in Wednesday night’s season-opening loss to Seattle.

TreVeyon Henderson, who missed Wednesday’s game with an ankle injury, returned to practice on Monday. So did offensive lineman Ben Brown, who missed time during the preseason with a knee injury.

Brayboy, who signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free-agent out of Elon last year and spent training camp with Jacksonville this summer, joins Kyle Dixon and Cameron Dorner as the practice squad receivers. Brayboy has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Davison spent less than two weeks with the Patriots after being added to the practice squad on Sept. 3. He spent training camp with the Saints before his brief stint with the Patriots.

The Patriots brought Holmes back a couple of weeks after releasing him. New England signed Holmes as an undrafted free-agent out of James Madison in May and kept him until cutdown day on August 30.

New England returned to practice on Monday and is set to host its home opener against the Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
