Stay at this Seaport hotel and get free admission to ICA Boston

Book a stay at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport — and you can get a free trip to one of Boston’s leading contemporary art museums. 

Guests staying at the hotel’s Artist Tower can take a 10-minute walk to the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston and receive complimentary admission simply by showing their room key. 

“Art has always been a part of the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport’s identity since we first opened our doors five years ago,” Director of Sales and Marketing Brendon Duca said in a statement to Boston.com. “We’re always looking for ways to connect guests with the neighborhood around us.” 

And the art experience doesn’t end when guests leave the museum. 

Omni Boston has its own “24-Hour Museum,” a curated collection of Boston-inspired paintings, sculptures, murals, and mixed-media works displayed throughout the property, including in the lobby and restaurants, Duca said. 

Guests can download an ebook for a self-guided tour on the collection, with information about each piece, its artists, and the inspiration behind it. 

“Boston’s arts community helped shape the hotel from the beginning,” Duca said, pointing to the performance stage in the hotel lobby, which was inspired by the steps outside the ICA. “Over the past five years, the hotel has continued building on that foundation, and the ICA partnership gives guests an even more direct connection to the neighborhood’s arts scene.” 

The Artist Tower was designed for guests looking for a stay connected to Boston’s arts scene, according to Duca. 

The rooms feature studio-inspired layouts and contemporary design details and offer other perks, including access to workout gear from Boston-based NOBULL to use in the hotel’s fitness center, Duca said.
