Over ten students at Jawaharlal Nehru University have accused a faculty member of sexual harassment, inappropriate sexual advances, and making lewd remarks during classes. The students have also alleged inappropriate behaviour and demands for sexual favours at the professor’s residence inside the university campus. The Internal Complaints Committee has launched an investigation into the matter after multiple students came forward with allegations filed around a month ago. The university administration and Vice-Chancellor’s office have not commented on the issue as the probe remains underway.
