Alexander Isak ran riot against Ipswich, scoring two goals inside the opening nine minutes as Liverpool won 2-0.
The Reds picked up their first Premier League win of the season with a strong display, remaining unbeaten in their opening three games so far.
Ipswich improved in the second half but failed to find a way past Alisson in the Liverpool goal, making it back-to-back losses.
New £123million signing Bradley Barcola from PSG got some minutes under his belt in his Liverpool debut, as the Reds cruised to victory.

It didn’t take long for Isak to get on the scoresheet as Cody Gakpo picked up the ball just past the halfway line and rolled through the Swedish international.
The power of the strike beat Kjell Scherpen in the Ipswich goal, who really should have done better to deal with the effort at his near post.
Just three minutes later, Liverpool’s star striker got in behind again after Gakpo once more played a brilliant ball forward.
With some clever footwork, the Reds talisman slotted past Scherpen, who was caught in no man’s land.

Next was Dominik Szoboszlai to have a go from distance, but this time the Ipswich goalkeeper was equal to the strike as Liverpool continued to apply relentless pressure.
The Hungarian went close once more halfway through the first half as the Tractor Boys struggled to find any foothold on the ball.
Alisson survived a scare as Ipswich got a scarce corner, being whipped in by Serbia’s Sasa Lukic, which Liverpool’s goalkeeper came to punch.
After completely missing the ball, it fortunately dropped off Gakpo’s chest for the Brazilian to collect in what could have been far worse for the away side.

Isak thought he had his hat-trick just past the half-hour mark after a brilliant cross by Florian Wirtz, but the Swede had narrowly strayed into an offside position.
Wirtz had a shot of his own on the volley just before the end of the first half, which was well saved by Scherpen.
The second half started with Jeremy Jacquet appearing to be a lucky boy after avoiding a second yellow card for a challenge on Emersonn, which on another day could have seen him dismissed.
Julio Enciso had a half-decent effort on the hour mark as Ipswich tried to conjure up a response.

New signing Barcola from PSG came on with about half an hour to go, as the away end opposite to where the Frenchman came on from cheered in excitement.
The Liverpool fans nearly had something else to cheer about after Szoboszlai was brought down inside Ipswich’s penalty area by Leif Davis, but the Hungarian had strayed into an offside position in the build-up.
The Tractor Boys applied some pressure on the Reds for the latter part of the second half, but failed to properly test Alisson.

Gakpo, who assisted both goals, described the win as “much-needed”.
“It was a great game today from our side. Still some things to improve still. Much-needed win for us, very happy with the performance,” he told Sky Sports.
When questioned about his link-up with Isak, the Dutchman added: “We will see. As attackers we always train together and try to get to know each other even better every time again.
“Hopefully, beautiful things are ahead. We have to build on that. The first win, hopefully the first of many.”
