Thousands of fans bid farewell to Jaylen Brown at his “741 Frequency Fest” this past Sunday on the Boston Common. The event celebrating Brown’s 10-year tenure in Boston featured surprise musical performances by rap artists Lil Baby, Joyner Lucas, and A$AP Ferg.
Fans enjoyed games, food, back-to-school giveaways, and a chance to see Brown’s championship and Finals MVP trophies. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu presented Brown with a commemorative “Jaylen Brown Way” street sign, and local representatives honored him for his extensive community work.
In his speech (video below) Brown thanked the crowd, declaring, “Boston, I love you. I f#ck with you. Boston, thank you.”
