A 19-year-old Easton man is charged with raping a child at a summer camp, as first reported by NBC10.

The incident occurred at Stonehill College at a camp run by College Gate, a STEM summer program for students ranging from ages six to 15, NBC10 reported.
“We are aware of reports of an alleged incident involving College Gate, an external organization that rented facility space on our campus earlier this summer. The matter did not involve Stonehill College employees and was handled by the Easton Police Department,” a Stonehill College spokesperson said in a statement.
After his arraignment on Aug. 7, Cremins was released on his own recognizance on the condition he does not contact the victim or witnesses or have any unsupervised contact with anyone under 16 years old, court documents show.
Cremins’ lawyer, Stacie Cooper, and College Gate did not respond to requests for comment Sunday night.
Cremins is set to reappear in court for a probable cause hearing on Sept. 22, court documents show.
