The creator and star of Bad Sisters and Catastrophe is back with a new HBO comedy about a 50-year-old divorcee looking for sex and love.
HBO has released the first trailer for Youth, the new eight-part comedy series created, written and starring Sharon Horgan.
The series follows Alex (Horgan), a 50-year-old divorcee who is searching for sex and love while caring for her ailing parents and parenting her son, who should be grown up by now.

The cast also includes Rupert Friend (The Young Victoria, Homeland) as Patrick, Sharlene Whyte (Small Axe, Stephen) as Sam, Aran Murphy (The Wonder) as Ruari and Robbie Gee (The Full Monty) as Frank.
Horgan is best known for creating and starring in the BAFTA-winning comedy Catastrophe, which she co-created with Rob Delaney, before going on to create and star in Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters.
She also executive produces Youth, which is produced by Merman, the production company behind Bad Sisters, Amandaland and Vladimir.

Youth premieres with its first two episodes on Monday, 21 September, only on HBO Max, with new episodes released weekly.
