Kyle Walker and wife Annie Kilner have named their baby daughter Royal Wish Walker after welcoming their fifth child together.
The former England and Manchester City star and his wife became parents to their first girl in June, adding to a family that already includes four sons.
And the couple have now revealed that their daughter will be known as Wish, having chosen Royal as her first name to maintain a family tradition.
Their four boys are named Roman, Riaan, Reign and Rezon, meaning all five of Walker and Kilner’s children now have first names beginning with the letter R.
A friend of the family said the couple are delighted with their new arrival and believe their family now feels complete.
“Wish is adorable and the parents are smitten. It’s the perfect name – they couldn’t have wished for anything quite so perfect. It feels like the family is complete,” the source told The Sun.
“Mum, Dad and the four boys are totally head over heels in love with their new bundle of joy.”
Kilner, 33, has also shared a series of photographs of her daughter on Instagram after previously keeping the newborn largely away from public view.
One post showed both parents kissing Wish, while other images featured her older brothers gathered around their sister.
Kilner explained the significance of the name in an emotional message accompanying the photographs.
“We wished, we waited, and then came you.. So wanted, So loved,” she wrote.
“This was the only name to ever belong to you…Wish Walker.”

The baby was dressed in a small outfit featuring a bow and matching socks, with Kilner writing “Worth the wait” alongside the image.
Walker and Kilner announced the arrival of their daughter in June, with the mother confirming she had been born safely.
“Our precious baby girl is here safe,” she said at the time.
“Speechless with the amount of love we all feel and the joy she’s already brought to our family.”
Their daughter’s arrival marked another chapter for a couple whose marriage has faced considerable scrutiny in recent years.

GETTYKilner asked Walker to leave their Cheshire family home in December 2024 after it emerged he had fathered a second child with Lauryn Goodman.
Walker, who also shares son Kairo with Goodman, subsequently publicly apologised for his actions and accepted responsibility for the hurt he had caused.
“I’ve caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions,” he said.
Walker and Kilner have since remained together and welcomed their fifth child.
