The flagship 2027 Lamborghini Revuelto SV has been unveiled as the fastest and most powerful series-production model ever released by the Italian automaker, and it brings an upgraded aero package, new battery tech, and the first ‘Pilota’ driving mode.
Pricing for the new track-focused Revuelto SV has not been announced yet, but it’s expected to be north of the standard Revuelto’s Australian price of $987,908 before on-road costs, which in itself equates to more than $1 million on the road.
In a nod to the brand’s founding year as an automaker, only 1963 examples of the Revuelto SV will be produced globally, and while no set number has been allocated to specific markets, the order book will be open to Australian buyers.

The more capable SV model follows a tradition of wicked-up ‘Super Veloce’ Lamborghini models, but the near-2000 production run will make it the most prolific yet, exceeding the 1100 Aventador SV coupes and roadsters made between 2015 and 2017.

“Revuelto SV is designed for customers seeking the purest expression of Lamborghini performance and driving emotion,” Lamborghini sales and marketing chief Federico Foschini told CarExpert.
“The concept behind the car is what we define as ‘The Quantum of Driving’: a point where performance is no longer simply increased, but transformed into a completely different driving experience.
“Every element, from the enhanced aerodynamics and dedicated suspension to the new Pilota mode, next-generation brakes and bespoke Bridgestone tyres, has been developed to create a more direct and instinctive connection between driver and machine.
“The Revuelto already established a new benchmark. The SV is aimed at customers who want to experience the most focused, immersive and emotionally engaging interpretation of that platform, whether on road or on track.”

The SV increases the total power output of the regular Revuelto’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12-based high-performance hybrid (HPEV) system by 36kW, to 783kW, with the same 1425Nm of torque.
The extra power comes from the trio of liquid-cooled axial-flux electric motors, which now make 220kW (up from 140kW), while the petrol V12 sends the same 607kW through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The powertrain upgrades is claimed to shave 0.1 seconds off the official 0-100km/h time, which now stands at 2.4 seconds, and Lamborghini says the SV will reach 200km/h in just 6.7 seconds on its way to an unchanged top speed “exceeding 345km/h”.
The Italian automaker claims this level of performance is repeatable, courtesy of a new 7.3kWh lithium-ion battery pack in place of the standard 3.8kWh version, which will be upgraded from pouch to cylindrical cells for MY27.

Lamborghini says the electric upgrades enable “four times greater performance consistency compared to the Revuelto, delivering sustained output and repeatability even under extreme track conditions”.
Contributing to its high-speed capability are a set of aerodynamic changes to shift the balance of the Revuelto forwards to better suit track work, with a stunning 80 per cent increase in downforce compared to the standard Revuelto.
These include a new front splitter and angled front bumper fins to deliver 12 per cent better brake cooling, enabling the larger new CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic ventilated brake discs to perform more strongly for longer.
The new brake rotors measure 420mm at the front and 410mm at the rear, increases of 10mm and 20mm respectively, and are said to enable the SV to stop dead from 200km/h in only 110m (11 metres less), in part because it carries 23kg less weight than the latest 2027 Revuelto’s 1795kg.

Combined with the Integrated Brake Controller (IBC) seen on the Fenomeno and Urus SE Performante, Lamborghini claims 11 per cent more peak deceleration and 23 per cent better heat dissipation, in part due to new air ducts feeding the rear brakes.
The rear-end of the SV also gains a unique double rear-wing design for more downforce, with a low centre section to minimise drag alongside a Gurney flap. Overall length is reduced by 3mm, while the SV also gains new matte-grey twin exhaust outlets.
The aero upgrades are joined by exposed carbon-fibre and black accents, exclusive lightweight centre-lock wheels measuring 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, and several specially developed Bridgestone tyre choices including the Potenza Race R semi-slick.
Other exterior changes include red detailing on the front and rear diffusers, as well as the choice of four different SV liveries.

The track focus extends to the suspension, with four-way manually adjustable dampers developed from Lamborghini’s GT3 race program combining with the new aero and Bridgestone tyres to deliver 10 per cent more lateral grip and 17 per cent better agility, claims the company.
Bringing all the upgrades together is the debut of the new ‘Pilota’ driving mode, which controls the SV’s five-stage traction control system, adapts to differing track conditions, and is tuned for “aggressive driving” including mounting kerbs around corners on track.
“Thanks to new aerodynamics, a cutting-edge vehicle dynamics controller, and motorsport-derived technologies for suspension, brakes, and tyres, as well as increased power, the Revuelto SV delivers even greater precision and sportiness than the Revuelto.,” said Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann in a statement.
“This makes the Revuelto SV the ultimate super sports car for performance-focused drivers.”
